I am a Substitute Teacher. I have a 26 year old daughter, a 4 year old granddaughter and a ten and twelve year old. Yes, there is a 14 year gap between my oldest and middle child. What was I thinking?!  I don't know. I met my husband when I was 35 and I was in love.

My two youngest are the bane of my exist... I mean the loves of my life. No, all kidding aside, I can't imagine what it would mean to not have them. I am 52 and everyone tells me I look ten years younger. I think it's because they keep me on my toes.

I am currently in the process of finishing up an inspirational book or booklet. Planning on epublishing it and possible desktop publishing.

I try to do any hobby or craft my lttle heart desires. I don't believe I can't do something until I try, fail, try again, fail again, try one more time, fail and then just put it on the backburner.

Many of my hubs will be book reviews. I devour books. I just joined a cozy mystery group and am learning about great writers in that genre. I also watch a lot of movies as I am a Netflix addict.

When I have time I crochet. I write my own patterns for doll clothes. I love thread crochet because it is intricate and for those who don't know how to crochet it looks like I am an artist with a steel hook.

I live in the Pocono Mountains. I've been trying to escape from here for ten years. The spring and summer are deceptively beautiful. The short autumn makes everywhere look like a postcard. But the loooooooong winters dry you up like nobody's business. It's kind of like childbirth. It's so horrible you think you will never do it again but when you see that adorable little face, you think, well maybe one more time. That's how it is when the geese come back, the birds start singing and the first leaves begin to peek from the trees.
